Idea Proposals- too ambitious and time consuming to make for real at the moment.

I found a fan pumping out hot air in the courtyard behind Camberwell (marked with a red dot on the map).

This is my proposal for a giant inflatable that is lifted into the sky high above camberwell by the hot air.

 Blow-up Corridor

Designed around the measurements of the South London Gallery. 

Viewers crawl into the 1 metre high blow up structure and emerge in the 6ft dome or the 9ft spires.

In real life the edges wouldn't be so sharp and defined they would be all puffy and round.

Inflatable

Tomas Saraceno I just found has made a hot air balloon out of bin bag material, it is powered by a fan AND he has drawn up instructions so that anyone can make it. This is exactly what I was trying to do with this inflatable room project and the boat project. Similar........

Beautiful Kites from 1957

This is one of my favorite blogs and these kites really are beautiful. Look Here.

Boat

2m x 2m piece of cardboard, waterproofed then folded into the shape of a boat. I took it on a bus to Kensington Gardens and sailed it on the icey Serpentine in front of the Anish Kapoor sculpture. I had a small leak so improvements need to be made.

I live in halls in London so I dont really get much peace and quiet ever. This was an attempt to find a moment of calm in an otherwise hectic environment.
